Subscription
- Cloud video recording & AI alerts needs Arlo Secure Plus (unlimited cameras) ($17.99/mo). Live view and two-way audio work without a plan; cloud recording needs a subscription.
Joe should know
Arlo puts most of its value behind Arlo Secure. Without it, newer Arlo cameras give you live view and basic alerts but do not save video to the cloud, and AI person and package detection stays off. Plans start around $8 a month for one camera; covering all four is the unlimited plan, about $18 a month. An Arlo base station can store video locally to skip the fee.
