Front porch
Zooz's 500-series Z-Wave Plus paddle switch for wired on/off control of lights, with direct 3-way and 4-way wiring and a required neutral wire. Now discontinued and replaced by the 800-series ZEN71.
Z-Wave deadbolt on the front door. Pairs with the SmartThings hub for codes and lock-state automations.
Front-door video doorbell. Cloud-leaning. Pairs with the Ring app and Alexa.
Living room
Living room voice control. Plays into the broader Google Home ecosystem.
Wall-mounted projector on the second-floor entry wall. Doubles as the screen surface.
Streaming on the living-room projector. The Plex client lives here.
Office
Wired indoor camera. Local RTSP if you want it; cloud if you do not configure it.
Garage
Spotlight cam on the garage. Motion light plus camera.
Wi-Fi sprinkler controller in the garage. Skips watering based on local weather. Cloud-leaning.
Add-on that lets Adam open and close the garage from the phone. Pre-dates the MyQ lockdown.
Backyard
Variable-speed pool pump. Quiet, energy-sipping, runs the Trouble Free Pool turnover schedule.
Battery and solar panel camera in the backyard. Wire-free placement.

Tesla Powerwall 2

Rooftop solar feeding the Powerwalls and the grid, built on Enphase IQ8 microinverters (one per panel). Adam is grandfathered on NEM 2.0 / TOU-D-PRIME. Listed price is per Enphase IQ8-series microinverter (~$215 MSRP).
Whole-home heat pump, relocated from garage to attic. All-electric house, no gas line.
