What decides compatibility
- Local storage on an SD card or a hub keeps clips out of a subscription. Cloud-only models stop storing when the plan ends.
- A physical privacy shutter is a hardware fact you can see. A privacy mode in an app is a setting you have to trust.
- Check whether the camera supports a standard stream (RTSP or ONVIF) if you plan to record locally on a NAS or Home Assistant.
